I was Audrey's and
my sister Mollie's 'taxi' to Swanwick for the past five years and know
that it was one of the highlights of Audrey's year.
She was unwell for
quite some time but did not let it stop her from doing the things she
loved.
I'm sure many will
remember with pleasure Audrey's talented performances in the final evening
entertainments at Swanwick and will join me in sending love and sympathy
to her family.

It came as a nasty surprise to hear about the death of Audrey.
She was always a kindly lady and for some reason seemed to take me to
her heart from my very first Swanwick five years ago.
Audrey was forthright, but always kind and supportive and gave an enormous
amount of her considerable talents to Swanwick particularly in the Spectacular
(right).
Such a wonderful clear voice and despite having on occasion, an inept
sidekick (me) gave a memorable performance that was the glue that held
us all together.
Swanwick will be different without Audrey, and not just for the last night
celebrations. My thoughts go to Joanne and her family.
Audrey will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.

I was so sorry to hear that Audrey Hopkins has died, as I didn't know
she had been ill.
I well remember her performances in the Revues when we both took part.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Audrey Hopkins.
She was an amazing lady and I know last year she came to Swanwick hiding
the most tremendous problems.
I shall miss her sense of humour.
I so admired all she did.
Her family and close friends will be in my prayers.
