The workshop leader of the day sets a theme at the start of the session. How you respond to that theme is entirely up to you.

It could be a short story, an article, a letter, a poem, the opening chapter of a novel, the first act of a play, a TV/radio sitcom … anything that inspires you.

Led by experienced tutors from a wide range of writing specialties, these innovative one-hour sessions should send you home from Swanwick with at least one completed (or germinating) piece of writing.
