The winners of the 2009 writing competitions have been announced. see here

The winners have been notified.

1. Short Story
First prize - a free week at Swanwick sponsored by The Writers' Summer School. Second prize - £100.00. 3rd prize £25.00.

2. Writing for Children
First Prize - a free week at Swanwick sponsored by the Hayes Conference Centre. Second Prize £100.00. Third Prize £25.00.

3. Poetry
First Prize - a free week at Swanwick sponsored by Writers' News and Writing Magazine. Second Prize £100. Third Prize £25.00.

All three winners will be considered for publication in Writing Magazine and may be posted on the Writing Magazine Website.
